WELCOME to the page all about the 4th DERBY TRADITIONAL MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL, held within the Derby Assembly Rooms, Market Place, Derby DE1 3AH, which is the biggest social event on the Derbyshire folk scene and is firmly established on the Derby folk calendar. The dates are 1-2-3 October 2010.
All events will be held in the Assembly Rooms Complex and we are opening up the Darwin Suite to accommodate some of the festival events that have attracted capacity audiences in previous years.
There will be the celebrated ceilidhs, several sessions, crackin’ concerts and wonderful workshops, plus a Real Ale Bar with a Festival Ale.
Also, there are lots of exciting eating places, accommodation and parking areas, all within easy reach of the Assembly Rooms. In fact, parking couldn’t be easier with two main car parks close by: the multi-storey adjacent to the Assembly Rooms, or the Phoenix Street private secure car park (DE1 2ER) just a 10 minute walk from the venue, which also takes motor homes and caravans, but you must book in advance tel nos 07806 655 847 or 01332 833794. There are lots of inexpensive B&Bs in the city.
